This contract is subjected to the laws and regulations of the French Republic and more specifically to the mail order regulations. In the event of dispute, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.



INTRODUCTION 

The www.mysateen.com website is exploited by Sateen, a company registered with the Nanterre Trade & Companies Register under N° 500 839 022 and having its registered office at 41 rue de Belfort 92000 Nanterre, France. The general conditions of sale retailed below govern the contract relationships between any users of the www.mysateen.com website and Sateen. These General Terms of Sale are the sole terms applicable and supersede any other terms, unless otherwise previously and specifically agreed in writing. A Sateen may from time to time change some provisions of its General Terms, the latter should be re-read prior to each visit to the Sateen website (hereinafter referred to as "the Website"). Such changes will be enforceable from the day they are on-line and shall not apply to any previously made contracts. Every purchase made on the Website shall be governed by the General Terms applicable on the day the order is placed. We consider that in validating your purchase order, you unconditionally agree to our General Terms of Sale after having read them.


Article 1 - PRICES
The prices of our products are shown in Euro, including all sales taxes and VAT and excluding postage. For purchase orders to be shipped to countries other than metropolitan France, any customs duties or local taxes shall be borne by the recipient. Sateen reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but the products will be billed on the basis of the prices applicable at the time of order.

Article 2 - ORDER
Sateen reserves the right to cancel or to refuse any order from a customer with whom a claim relating to a previous order would be pending. Any purchase order signed through the consumer's double click will constitute acceptance of these General Terms of Sale.
The double click associated with the authentication and non-repudiation procedure forms an electronic signature. The electronic signature has the same value between the parties as a handwritten signature. Jewels ordered with a custom-designed engraving cannot be returned or exchanged, unless the jewel has a manufacturing defect.

Article 3 - VALIDATION
You declare to fully accept these selling terms and conditins without reserve before filled in a purchase order. The automatic registration systems are considered a proof of an order, which becomes final either after acceptance of the transaction by the SSL online safe payment services for a bank card payment, or after the payment cheque has been cashed by our bank for any payment by bank cheque.

Article 4 - AVAILABILITY
Our goods and prices are valid as long as they are visible on the site, within the limits of available stocks. In case of an unavailability of product after signing of your order, we shall inform you by email as promptly as possible. The customers will then be entitled to request the cancellation and reimbursement or exchange of their order to Sateen. Your order will be cancelled and you will be paid off under 10 days if your bank account was sold.
For the payment by check, in case of unavailability of all or any of the order, the refund will be made in the choice of Sateen by credit on the bank account of the customer or by check at the latest in thirty days as from the payment of the sums paid by the customer.

Article 5 - SHIPPINGS AND DELIVERY TIME
After reception of your payment, the average delivery time of treatment of the order is 5-9 working days, unless anything unforeseen happens, case of absolute necessity or shortage of stock. Goods are delivered to the shipping address you specified in the ordering process.
Sateen uses the shipping service called Letter Max for France, Post-Export for Europe and the rest of the world. Sateen may not be held responsible for any consequences due to a routing delay or any delay caused by total or partial Post Office strike. Any order that has not been shipped within 30 days of order will be cancelled, unless otherwise agreed and announced in the offering. In case of delay an e-mail will be sent to you.  

Article 6 - PAYMENT
The price charged to the customer is the price indicated on the confirmation of order sent by Sateen. The payment of your purchases is made either :
- on-line via our secured system called Mercanet (BNP Paribas Bank) and its SSL inscription process. The order validated by the customer will be considered effective only when the center of banking payment will have given its agreement. In case of refusal of the center, the command(order) will automatically be cancelled and the customer prevented(warned) by e-mail
- by Bank cheque : your order will then be reserved for 7 days. Thereafter, without reception of your check, it will be cancelled. The order will be processed only of receipt of your cheque and after validation. The cheque must be established to the order of "Sateen" and be sent to Sateen, 41 rue de Belfort 92000 Nanterre, France.

Article 8 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The copyright and intellectual property rights in any and all texts, comments, books, illustrations and pictures reproduced on the Sateen Website are reserved worldwide. Therefore, according to French Intellectual Property Law, only private use is authorised, unless otherwise or even more restrictively provided for by French Intellectual Property Law.
